Position: Regional Sales Manager
Reporting to: Vice President of Sales
Summary
Achieve revenue objectives within targeted verticals through the sale of mobile computing products and services ensuring customers find the right combination to support their specific mobile computing needs.
Essential Job Functions/Expectations:
- Drive revenue throughout designated territory within targeted verticals
- Manage assigned territory
- Provide in-depth customer technology roadmap and collaboratively work with inside Account Manager to uncover new sales opportunities
- Responsible for growing territory including account analysis and strategy, account penetration and development of executive level relationships
- Develop complete mobile computing solutions for customers enabling them to increase productivity
- Develop strategic relationships with ISV in assigned Vertical and geographical Territory
- Ability to manage sales cycle to minimize potential channel conflict
- Ability to articulate and guide Custom or OEM solutions required by clients
- Build market awareness of TabletKiosk through participation in local/regional industry events, organizations and affiliations
Experience and Education Requirements:
- 4+ years of sales experience with a PC manufacturer and/or System Integrator/VAR
- Cold calling experience in a sales "hunter" role
- Proven record of quota attainment
- Experience calling on C-level executives within targeted markets
- Experience with large account selling
- Experience effectively managing a geographical territory
- Experience selling solution services in a consultative environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent Communication and presentation skills
- Effective selling, negotiation, communication and problem solving abilities
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or the equivalent in experience
- Experience with salesforce.com or similar CRM platform
- Personal commitment to customer service and follow through
- Experience working in a decentralized, small start-up environment
- Knowledge of mobile computing / tablet pc technology and markets is beneficial but must be able to demonstrate ability to learn new technologies
- Ability to travel domestically 40 – 50% of the time
